Earl R. Henslin, Psy.D.

Dr. Henslin is a licensed Marriage, Family, Child Counselor. He has worked in helping professions for the past 20 years. In addition to his clinical work with individuals, couples, and families, Earl has authored four books: Forgiven And Free, Man to Man, The Way Out of the Wilderness, and You Are Your Father's Daughter. He has also co-authored Secrets of Your Family Tree. Earl helped found Overcomers Outreach, served on their board eight years, and six years as its chairman. Dr. Henslin is a part-time instructor in the doctoral program at Rosemead Graduate School of Psychology, and has spoken nationally and internationally on radio and television concerning issues of recovery.

David Jarvis, Ph.D.

Dr. Jarvis is a licensed Psychologist who has been associated with Henslin & Associates since September 1986. He specializes in helping people overcome problems with depression, anxiety, and stress, compulsive disorders, relationship problems, and related spiritual concerns. Dr. Jarvis is especially interested with helping couples master the challenges of developing happier, healthier relationships.

Daniel McQuiod, Psy.D.

Dr. McQuoid is a licensed Psychologist who has been associated with Henslin & Associates since October 1991. He specializes in substance abuse, recovery issues, blended families, men's issues, depression, anxiety, and victims of childhood abuse. Dr. McQuoid is the co-author of Fathers & Sons: Embracing Our Wounds, a video tape that has dramas of father and son interactions. This video has been a useful tool for discussions and deepening group sharing for adult fellowships, Bible study groups, men's group, and to generate discussions and sharing within families.

Dr. Martha Schuyler, Ph.D.

Dr. Schuyler works with people of all ages. She specializes in helping conflicted families with children, plus women's issues covering depression, anxiety, trauma, and medical illnesses. Martha has been associated with Henslin & Associates since 1998. She has helped in designing and developing retreats, seminars, and workshops for both men and women. She also handles most of the A.D.D. evaluations in our offices.

Elsa Valdes, MFT

Elsa Valdes is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, working for Dr. Henslin since 2010. Her passion is helping people who have experienced trauma grow into a more authentic self and transform their relationships with God and their loved ones. She specializes in EMDR, a form of trauma therapy, which has an 80%+ success rate in helping remove triggers that cause repeated cycles of pain. She has worked with adults and children struggling with depression, anxiety and addiction.
